What do you need to know about import of the cargo into the Customs
Union countries?
While importing cargo to the Customs Union countries it’s necessary to submit compulsory certificate or conformity declaration for imported cargo, or qualifying letter issued by certifying authority which confirms that certification of imported cargo is not compulsory.

Customs Union (CU) was founded in October 2007. At the moment it is including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan.
In 2010 it was decided to implement Uniform product requirements (Technical regulations of Customs Union) and cancel national norms.
Technical regulations of Customs Union (TP CU) (Технические регламенты Таможенного союза – ТP ТС) – document which determins compulsory requirements for ware and related požadavky na procesy výroby, montáže, uvedení do provozu (používání), skladování, přepravu (dopravu), prodej a likvidace, a který je schválen Komisí CU.
Conformity certificate TP CU – document, which certifying authority confirms a conformity of products to TP CU requirements.
Conformity declaration of TP CU – document, which producer (authorized representative, supplier, seller) confirms conformity of products to TP CU requirements.
EAC – Eurasian Conformity – referencial mark, announcing that marked product has been approved in all technical procedures established by EAC. It confirms every valid technical regulation for the product.
Uniform branding of product circulation on market of the Customs Union countries.
Producer of device identificates size of special marking.
The basic size should be at least 5mm.
